What are nurses doing to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19?

– Nurses will self-assess their health and will not visit you if they have had any symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days.

– Nurses are advised to conduct lateral flow tests at least twice a week.

– Nurses will maintain social distancing during their visit wherever possible.

– Nurses will wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a mask, gloves and apron during their visit.

– Nurses will sanitise their hands and equipment before entering and leaving your home as well as during the visit if they need to hand anything to you.

– All visits will be pre-arranged and a COVID-19 health screening will be carried out with participants when making an appointment and before entering homes.
