Are the activities accessible?

We are committed to making these activities as accessible as reasonably possible while ensuring that they continue to measure the cognitive abilities they are designed to assess.

Where appropriate, the activities include accessibility features such as:

• colour palettes selected to support participants with common forms of colour vision deficiency
• simple response methods (such as single taps or key presses) to minimise motor demands where possible
• clear, consistent instructions and an intuitive interface.

Some activities are specifically designed to evaluate visual cognitive abilities, such as visual attention, spatial memory, pattern recognition, and reaction time. In these activities, the visual presentation of information is an essential part of what is being measured. For this reason, certain visual tasks are not suitable for screen readers or non-visual interaction, as changing the way information is presented would fundamentally alter the activity.
