Will a healthcare professional be able to visit me in my home?

Yes, health visits are taking place. This visit includes taking a small blood sample, checking blood pressure, grip strength, walking speed and balance, and recording measurements such as weight, and waist/hip circumference.

If required, healthcare professionals will wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a mask, gloves and apron, and will follow a number of safety guidelines to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, if you are clinically vulnerable or you are concerned in any way about having a healthcare professional visit you at home, please let them know.  The healthcare professional will also check whether you are isolating or have any COVID-19 symptoms before making an appointment or entering your home.
