Second survey on the ongoing impact of the coronavirus outbreak
In May, we launched a special online COVID-19 Survey of NCDS study members and participants in four other cohort studies (born in 1946, 1970, 1989-90 and 2000-02). In all, over 18,000 people, across the five studies, completed the survey.
Researchers have already started analysing the data, which has led to some important discoveries about the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on people’s work, mental health, and parenting.
Now that the UK has come out of national lockdown, we would like to find out about what your life is like now and how things have changed for you over the past few months.
This is why we are launching a second COVID-19 survey in September. This is an important opportunity to contribute to our national understanding of how coronavirus is continuing to affect the economy, society and health.
The survey is being conducted on our behalf by Kantar, an independent research organisation. You will receive an invitation to take part by email and by post. You can either click on the link in the email, or go to www.cohortcovidsurvey.com and enter the Unique ID and Password contained in your letter.
The answers you give will help researchers understand more about who is impacted by the crisis as the months wear on. This will enable us to inform policymakers on how best to help.
Members of other studies (born in 1946, 1970, 1989-90 and 2000-2002) will also be invited to take part in these follow-up surveys.
